Kurd or Celtic: two characters, one key

Kurd D minor is the most played scale in the world: full, meditative, immediately approachable. Celtic D minor sounds airier and more melancholy, with wider jumps between the tone fields, closer to an Irish melody than to a sound bath. With nine notes you play moods. With ten you play pieces. The extra tone field closes the gap where many beginners stall after a few weeks, and it is the reason we do not offer this model any smaller.
