The gradient

The fade from purple into the dark comes from the surface treatment and runs out slightly differently on every instrument, so no two Galaxy handpans are exactly alike. The coating protects the steel and does not flake away.

440 Hz or 432 Hz

440 Hz is the international standard and sits with guitar, piano and every other instrument. 432 Hz is marginally lower and sounds a shade softer, the usual choice in sound therapy.
