Kurd D minor is the most played scale in the world: warm, meditative, melodic from the first touch. Celtic D minor sounds airier, with wider intervals and a faintly melancholy character, closer to a folk melody. Both in the same key, both without wrong notes. 9 notes are the classic starting point and cover complete melodies. 10 notes open up the range noticeably. 12 notes are meant for more advanced players who want to improvise and move between registers. Every additional tone field is worked in individually and matched to all the others.
