440 Hz is the international standard: if you want to play with guitar, piano or other musicians, take 440 Hz. 432 Hz sits marginally lower, sounds a shade softer and is preferred in sound therapy. In build quality the two are identical.

The star pattern

The pattern sits in the surface of the shell, not as a sticker on top of it. It has no effect on the sound, and the tone fields are left untouched.
