45 instead of 53 cm: what that changes day to day

The difference sounds small, in use it is not: around 3 kg instead of 4 to 5, and a diameter that still sits comfortably on your lap and fits any standard bag. In sound it remains a full instrument, with every tone field tuned individually by hand and a tone that carries. Only the overall register sits a little higher.
